Blogging has connected the world in a way that hasn't been achieved by newspapers, films or even television. Transglobe blog is all about sharing those connections. Our aim is to have at least one post, and up to five, from every country in the world, all with a common theme "A day in my life."
Please join this new blogging community to read about each person's day - you can do so via RSS or by email, just use the form to your left.
You may think the daily life of someone in your own country isn't interesting, but it will be to people from other parts of the world. In time it will be fascinating to compare the daily lives of a mogul from Manhattan with a sheep farmer from Cyprus!
Once the project is complete it will be an amazing snapshot of life on our planet in the early 21st century!
Please also submit a post from your country, together with one photograph - it can be of you, or of your country. The post can be as short or as long as you like, but please also write a short bio about yourself and include a link to your own blog. Please submit all posts to mike@transglobeblog.com

My days usually start and end with simple manual tasks, and I like it this way. Although I'm a wired kind of guy with a long history of interfacing with technology, I have a great appreciation for doing things by hand and have organized my life around this to some extent. I think this is partly to offset the extent to which computers and the internet dominate the balance of my day.

Hello fellow crusaders,
I luv to share my daily riots. My days are crafted like sculptures – everything is planned.
Stephen, Cathy and their family decided to move from Leeds in the UK to start a new life in Tenerife after a series of unrelated events caused them to stop and reassess what they were doing in life. After just over 6 years of ups and downs, they are still (relatively) happy with their new lives at The Beach in Tenerife.
Days can be very different since we moved from the UK to one of the Canary Islands in 2003. They certainly are greatly changed from typical UK based days!
