Amongst being a "do-er of many things", Bonita Vos is a quirky web/graphic designer, animal lover and dancing enthusiast.

I am a quirky, mildly eccentric web & graphic designer, living the bustling city life in Gauteng, South Africa, in the city of Centurion. My daily commute consists of an approximate 30 minutes' drive to Johannesburg, our own city of lights.

As much as I love the city, I like to get out of it as often as possible. Luckily, from Centurion, it's only a short drive out to get in touch with anything from an expansive dam, to a lion park, to a mountainous walking trail, or even something as simple as a petting zoo, where wild cats are waiting to play.

My life is shared with my fiancé, his cat, and my rats.

Yes, you read that correctly! Fancy rats make amazing pets, and are not to be confused with their wilder cousins, who have unfortunately given the entire family a bad reputation.

“And how does the cat get along with the rats?” I hear you asking. The cat is only allowed into a certain part of the house, due to my incredibly sensitive sinuses. From her perch, she nonchalantly observes the rats in their cage. Her attention is easily broken, and her interest never extends past merely watching them.

My fiance and I are constantly discovering our “foodie” passions, and started our own blog - nomnomnom.co.za – where we keenly share our favourite recipes and restaurant experiences.

My ultimate, or "dream" working day: Wake up early, work work work, and then doze off for a power nap around 1pm. Upon awaking, I would grab a bite to eat, get some exercise and fresh air, then continue working from late afternoon into the evening. (Workaholic? Who, me?!) The later part of the evening would generally be time spent with my man critter, and fur critters.

My actual working day: Wake up, drowsily get ready for work, and drive from the south of Pretoria, through the city of Midrand, to the city of Johannesburg. Ah yes, commuting on the N1 highway! After a full working day, I usually either drive through to the heart of Pretoria for dancing classes, or back home to Centurion.

Yes, I'm a 3-city commuter! Pretoria is definitely a favourite, but I absolutely love the different vibe of each city.
