Dawn currently works for a large defense contractor in the United States. Her past work experiences involved education and working in the legal field as a paralegal. But, her real passion resides in the health and fitness industry. She’s taking her passion to a blog and has just started writing at HealthyFitLifestyle.com. She’s a proponent of alternative health, how the mind, body and spirit are interrelated and keeping the body fit and youthful as we age.
I woke up early today, 4:55 AM, as I do each work day to go to work in an industry that swallows most of my day. I'm a reluctant early riser and always have been. But, I could stay up all night easily. That may be part of my problem.
My husband and I moved to the State of Utah a couple of years ago. He was newly retired from the Navy at the time (25 years), yet is still very much a young man so to speak. He joined the Navy at 17, quite an undertaking in my opinion for someone that age. I only met him a few years ago – the same year terrorists struck our soil, 2001.
At any rate, we are now living in a state with an odd reputation for housing a religion that many Americans don’t get. I get it better now though I still can’t come to terms with much of the dogma. I feel as though I’m an outsider looking in much of the time. I have made friends with many of my Mormon neighbors and co-workers. They’ve helped me to understand what some of their beliefs are based on, but they have not persuaded me to change my ways. I’m still a rebel. At least to some degree.
I've just started a new blog that is still very much a work in progress. I'd love to be home today tweaking on it. I think about it a lot. You can watch it mature at www.healthyfitlifestyle.com.
